Permian Iran

We studied the Faraghan Formation in nine boreholes and four outcrops in the Zagros Basin, Iran. The stratigraphic ranges of the taxa allow reference to the biozone schemes for Oman and assignment of the Faraghan Formation to the Guadalupian.
